| News 1st June 05 - Reunion Update There is now a full schedule of events planned which has been added to the site and can be found on the reunion page. We look forward to welcoming over 50 former Hordaland students who studied in Cardiff and Barry since 1996. It is not too late to join us. For the list of events and travel and accomodation information visit our reunion page. 21st Jan 05 - Reunion Update Brenda thanks everyone who has responded with interest in the idea and will start to develop the programme as soon as her daughter's wedding is celebrated at the end of January. Currently we have the Norwegian Church in Cardiff Bay booked for a party on the Friday evening. There is the chance that we may also have a meeting in City Hall, and all are invited to a traditional Midsummer Party with members of the Welsh Norwegian Society on the Sunday. 21/01/05 Glan Hafren Easter Visit Ten students from Coleg Glan Hafren have been selected to visit Hordaland at Easter, 29 March to 5 April, under the leadership of Les Good, Geology & Geography teacher whom some former Glan Hafren Norwegians will remember well. This is the fourth visit from Glan Hafren. Leiv Vetâs kindly organises accommodation with families and puts together a programme of visits. If anyone is able to offer accommodation in the Bergen - Knarvik area (for which there is payment), I am sure that Leiv would be delighted to hear from you. Email leivet@hfk.no 01/08/04 Grand Reunion To celebrate the centenary of Norwegian independence and fifty years of Cardiff as a city we propose holding a reunion of students, families and teachers who have taken part in the scheme.
